Minimum wage agreed at €970 for 2027 — and already disputed

Re-locant.com · Cosmic Vortex · Notícias ao Minuto · Jul 27, 2026

Portugal's agreed minimum wage for 2027 is €970, a €50 rise. The CGTP union says it never subscribed to that figure and is demanding €1,050 immediately, while the employers' confederation CIP argues productivity targets have not been met and the conditions for a larger rise do not exist. The Labour Minister has neither ruled out nor promised a revision.

Why it matters for your move

The minimum wage is the reference used for the D7 income requirement — if it rises, so does the income you have to show in your file.
